My uncles are large men. One side of my family is wide--the other side is tall. This was taken a year ago at my Grandmother's birthday party. I post this picture so you can imagine them in your head as you read the following story.A little background--my Grandfather was the head of the Animal Science Department at BYU for many years. He owned a farm in South Provo which he ran with his father-in-law. Animals, rodeos, cowboys, etc. are something they enjoyed and have been passed onto me and my cousins.
Anyway, several years ago my Uncle Jim (second from the right) had an exchange student from somewhere in Asia--I think China, but i'm not sure. His name was Mooto. He was your average asian...always taking pictures and interested in any and all things America. In our family we go shooting a lot. We get together and used to go across the lake before they started building all those homes. Now we go to the shooting range in Springville.
One morning they decided to take Mooto along. They went to pick up my Uncle Matt (far left) and he came out with a cowboy hat on. Again, nothing out of the ordinary for us. We aren't hardcore cowboys, but we do own the hats and boots. Mooto got all excited and turned to Jim and exclaimed,
"Hey Jim! Is he a REAL cowboy?!"

Haha! What a special day for Mooto.
That really is a funny story. Especially when one of the uncles tells it - they are great storytellers, aren't they? Hope all is well. Love ya!
